Sabarimalai | The sabarimala Iyappan temple has announced that if the corona restrictions do not come into force again, all devotees who make reservations will be allowed to have darshan and will no longer need a corona vaccination certificate. Its chairman Anantha Gopan said the corona vaccine certificate was not required for pilgrims to perform samadhi at Sabarimala.

Speaking to reporters in Thiruvananthapuram, Travancore Devasthanam leader Anantha Gopan said, "The kerala government has set up an online booking facility for the darshan of devotees to control the crowds of devotees due to the spread of the corona epidemic. During the hearing on the petition, the kerala High court ruled in favor of the temple. Following this, online booking activities for devotees' darshan at sabarimala will now be brought under the control of the temple. If the corona restrictions do not come into force again, all devotees who make a reservation will be given darshan permission.

Additional facilities will be made for instant darshan bookings at key locations including the landfill. You can book an instant vision permit using an ID card for anything, including Aadhaar. Corona vaccination certification is no longer required.
