Reportedly yuzvendra chahal does not have any batting numbers to boast off in his international career, however, his IPL franchise Royal Challengers bangalore has revealed that the india leg-spinner has had a decent outing with the bat in first-class cricket during his U-19 days. RCB on tuesday shared some stats on social media that read that chahal had scored a hundred in a match in the 2008-09 edition of the Cooch Behar Trophy.

The Harayana leg-spinner had scored 135 and 46 against himachal pradesh U19 and finished up with 281 runs in the entire tournament. This came as a surprise as chahal has scored just 49 runs for india 52 ODIs and just 5 runs in 42 T20Is. RCB shared the post with the caption, "Fancy playing up the order, Yuzi?” india skipper virat kohli was quick to react to the post and dismissed the stats saying that must have been an exhibition match where chahal got such big runs. In a previous episode, chahal had jokingly asked Virat Kohli's wife and bollywood actress anushka sharma to help him with opening the batting for India. chahal said Virat might listen to her suggestion and that can help him in opening the batting.

"Next time bhabhi please say chahal ok opening Kara na chahal ko I wish aapki sun le," he commented on one of anushka Sharma's post.
