World Cup-winning captain confirmed his retirement!!! 

Captain eoin morgan Retirement, who took england to the top in the limited-overs format with his excellent leadership skills, said goodbye to international cricket on Tuesday. Morgan took the team to remarkable heights by adopting a fearless and aggressive approach to the white-ball format while leading the side after England's dismal failure in the 2015 cricket World Cup. Under his leadership, england became the champions of the ODI world cup for the first time in 2019 and they tasted a series of victories against every major team. Their success percentage is around 60.

England's strong performance

England cricket Managing director Rob Key said that as with all great players and captains, he changed the way he played for himself and for generations to come.  Under Morgan's leadership, England's team has three big scores in ODIs. 


Happiest chapter of my career

He said that this has undoubtedly been the happiest chapter of my career. The decision to retire was not easy but I believe this is the right time for me to do so. england all-rounder Moeen Ali, who won the 2019 world cup with Morgan, was also not surprised by the captain's decision. ali told the BBC that for him the team was first. It shows how selfless he is. He has done a remarkable job and he has definitely been our best captain ever.

The record for making the most for England

Morgan was also part of the england team that won the first global title in 2010 in the form of the t20 World Cup.  Morgan holds the record for most ODIs (225) and t20 (115) matches and most runs for his team in both formats.
