Reliance jio has launched its 5g service and is gradually reaching more cities. The company offers 5g services called jio True 5g in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Varanasi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Natwara, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. But the invitation of jio 5g has come only to selected users. jio has announced a welcome offer for eligible people to enjoy free 5g network connectivity.

How to get jio 5g for free?

Jio 5g welcome offer is invitation based. And not everyone in cities with jio 5g connectivity will be able to receive calls. According to reports, jio will offer free 5g service calls to users with an active plan of Rs 239 or above on prepaid or postpaid. 5g connectivity is available on 4G SIM. jio had earlier assured its users that they would not need to buy a new 5g SIM to connect to the 5g network. Existing jio 4G SIM will support 5g connectivity. So users only need to check if their phone has a plan of Rs.239 and above. jio will send a welcome offer invitation in the My jio app. So, if you live in one of the jio 5g eligible cities, go to the MyJio app to check the call.

When is jio 5g Plans Coming?

Jio has yet to launch a 5g plan. Telecom operator reliance jio will launch 5g plans after the 5g service reaches many cities in the coming months. jio aims to roll out by the end of this year and reach major cities across india by 2023.
