Actor Shanthanu was last seen in the Maniratnam bankrolled family entertainer Vaanam kottatum and will be seen next in the vijay starrer master helmed by lokesh Kanagaraj. Next Shanthanu will be seen in a movie heavily inspired by his father K Bhagyaraj's Murungaikkai comedies, and this movie has been titled Murungaikkai chips.
Helmed by debutant Srijar, this movie bankrolled by Ravindar Chandrasekar Libra Productions and First man productions costars Athulya ravi, reshma Pasupuleti, K bhagyaraj, yogi babu and manobala and has music by Dharan. However, Athulya ravi claims that the movie is going to be a family entertainer.
