Just like YouTube has a like and dislike button, twitter also has finally started testing the dislike button option, but this is nothing similar to what we have seen on YouTube. twitter has so far exposed this button only for iOS users and they can see both upvote and downvote options beneath all the tweets and the downvotes will not be shown to everyone for now and only the user who has shared the particular tweet can view that.

The upvotes mean likes and that will also appear beneath that particular tweet. Last year itself Mr.Kavyon Beykpour revealed that twitter will be rolling out this dislike button feature and now the testing process has already started and this was informed by twitter regarding this new feature and they have shared this on their official handle itself.

The downvotes will not be shown as public to everyone, but the upvotes will be shown as likes to everyone else and in the coming days there will be changes made based on the types of replies. The micro-blogging site also revealed that this feature is just in the testing stage and once the research is done and everything gets finalized this feature will be rolled out completely and full-fledged.
