Indian students from IIT Kharagpur and kolkata have found a new Self-healing Crystalline material and that might soon replace all smartphone screens and with this, the cracks will be repaired automatically. We all would have experienced a cracked phone screen due to any unfortunate accidents and when we try to replace them we find that it is more expensive. 


When we drop the phone and the glass gets shattered, it causes huge anxiety for many of us and even though there are protective glasses it comes to a thing of the past. Now, IIT students have invented something which might put screen guards to rest. As per research data, the research students have clarified that this new self-healing Crystalline material will automatically reassemble the broken parts of glass to the original form even though it falls many times. 


They have already published this in a journal on the indian Institute of Science education and Research. This might be a huge boon as many mobile companies will look forward to keeping this Crystalline material on their mobile displays instead of glass as it would help them to draw attention from a lot of customers.
