Due to the outage of the whatsapp processor last monday, it has now been reported that 70 million users have moved to the Telegram processor. On monday night, Facebook's whatsapp and instagram processors were rendered inoperable. Users were taken aback and unsure what to do when the applications, which are used by millions of people around the world, abruptly crashed. Users who initially mistook the outage for an internet outage discovered that whatsapp, instagram, and facebook were all down a few hours later.

Facebook explained that the processors were paralysed owing to a technical issue, which caused the users' problems. The apps' functionality returned to normal after around 6 hours of effort.

The Switching over to the Telegram processor sparked in the minds of whatsapp users. In the previous 24 hours of chaos, users who were affected by the whatsapp downtime have switched to Telegram Processor. So far, Telegram claims to have added 70 million new members. Telegram App founder Pavel Drove noted during the event that the Telegram processor's growth rate in the last 24 hours has been unpredictable.

The Telegram app currently has 161 million users throughout the world. When it comes to facebook and its other apps, tech experts claim that the global market is aware of the need for alternative processors to the facebook and whatsapp processors, as a result of the processors' freezing.
