The indian government has issued a stern warning to users of Mozilla Firefox who use the internet to browse the internet. In the latest update, the indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) revealed several security vulnerabilities in Mozilla products. It has been found that hackers can use these bugs not only to circumvent security restrictions, but also to carry out spoofing attacks, execute unrestricted code, and obtain sensitive details without the consent of users.

Warning for Mozilla Firefox Users The security agency has revealed that all versions of Mozilla Firefox prior to the latest Firefox 98 update have been affected by these security vulnerabilities.

These errors persist in Mozilla products due to post-use in-text reflows and thread shutdowns, time bugs when checking add-on signatures, and error in controlling sandboxed content. Allowed pop-ups, but not allowed scripts, memory security bugs in the browser engine, downloading of temporary files / tmp, and other local users have now been found to be inaccessible. CERT-In explains that security vulnerabilities can be exploited by hackers.
