A single charger for all types of mobiles soon..!?

Although the same charger is used for many mobile phones that we use, some chargers are not used for some models. The public is in trouble because some specific models have chargers unique to mobile phones. If you sell a mobile phone to a particular company and buy another mobile phone, you will have to buy a new charger. Following this, the central government has said that technology should be established to use the same type of charger for all mobile phones. The central government yesterday held a meeting with industrialists to study the technology to adopt a common charger for all types of mobile phones and portable electronic devices. The meeting was chaired by Consumer Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh. Manufacturers of small electronic devices including mobile phones and laptops participated. Representatives of sectoral associations, technical bodies, and industrialists attended the meeting. In this meeting, the central government has asked the industrialists to make the same type of charger acceptable for all types of mobiles and laptops in India. The central government has also asked the industrialists to evaluate the feasibility of this rule in india as it has already been adopted and implemented in europe and America. Consumer Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh emphasized to the businessmen that if they have to buy a charger separately every time they buy a mobile phone, it will cost the consumers more and a common charger is necessary to prevent this as electronic waste will also increase.
The european union recently announced a policy to adopt a common charger, the USB-C type port, for all types of small electronic devices by 2024. Similarly, it has been decided to implement this in the united states as well. In this situation, it is everyone's wish that the same type of charger is used for all types of electronic devices in India.
