COVID-19 cases in india hit another high as more than 4.14 lakh fresh cases were registered in the last 24 hours. According to the official data, 3,927 more people were dead because of the corona virus. thursday is the 10th day in the row where more than 3000 deaths took place. As per the info, every hour on an average 150 people are dying.

Country wise as well, it is the highest number of deaths reported in a 10-day span. According to WHO, the highest cumulative deaths reported by the US for 10 consecutive days is 34,798 while the corresponding figure for brazil is 32,692. For mexico and the UK it is 13,897 and 13,266 respectively.

On thursday alone 4,14,554 new cases were registered. On wednesday it was 4,12,784. While 13 states reported over 100 deaths in the past 24 hours, six states and UTs record the highest daily toll. maharashtra continued to stay in the top with more deaths as it reported 853 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Uttar Pradesh, delhi and karnataka reported 300 deaths while chhattisgarh recorded 200 deaths. Many other states recorded 100 deaths in a day.
