Frauds and scammers are taking advantage of this crisis and earning money from back doors. Let's see a story of a house wife whose husband got affected by covid.

Shikha Sharma, a 40 years old housewife from utter Pradesh, her husband got covid and he is in need of remdesivir injection. The original cost of that injection is 899 rs but in the black market, scammers are selling the same injection with a cost of 75,000. luckily Shikha Sharma identified the fraud and she waited for one more day and got an injection with the original price. But others, who are in a helpless situation have no other option but to buy in the black market.

In other case, scammers are making people to believe them that they will provide oxygen supply to the needy and charging around 50,000 rs . After the money transfer, they just disappear. frauds are also making duplicate medicines that look exactly like original medicine and people are falling for it.

On april 26, delhi police arrested  32 years old nurse for black marketing remdisvir injection. it is found that she sold 2 Remdesivir inject for a cost of 1.16lakhs.


Well, know pharma company Cipla recently gave a statement that frauds are using the name of Cipla and asking people for funds." please beware that unscrupulous person has set up bank account fraudulently in the name of cipla Ltd. enticing the public to transfer funds towards the alleged supply of medicines upon remittance. These persons are not connected with nor authorized by cipla. Authorities have been alerted  and are investigating the matter" - Cipla company said
