Sathish Sivalingam is an indian weightlifter who won gold in both the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games in the men's 77 kg weight class. Through the rahul dravid athlete mentorship programme, the GoSports Foundation assists him.

Mirabai Chanu's silver medal performance at the tokyo Olympics might serve as an example for future generations in the country, as fellow weightlifter Satish Sivalingam demonstrated. Sivalingam shared a video of his daughter doing Mirabai's silver medal lift on Twitter. Mirabai thought it was fantastic and liked it on Twitter.



Mirabai, the first indian weightlifter to win an Olympic silver medal, arrived in New delhi on monday to rousing applause and cries of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai." Security guards took the Manipur athlete out of the airport, as airport officials cheered her on. Despite the fact that Mirabai was wearing her india training shirt, she did not have the silver medal around her neck.
Mirabai Chanu, who arrived back in india on monday evening, lifted a total of 202kg (87kg+115kg) in the 49kg category on Saturday, surpassing Karnam Malleswari's bronze medal from the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
