Footage of a british traveller in the maldives lately went viral on social media, showing him attempting to leap over a puddle to save his white pants and shoes, but instead falling right into it and being drenched in muddy water. In the backdrop of the video, you can hear his wife's loud laughs.

As per the Daily Mail, Lewis & Racheal are touring the vicinity on the island in Fuvahmulah within the maldives when they stumbled to a swamp. The pair didn't want to take a long way around and instead chose to leap over the marsh.






Before trying to cross the swamp, Lewis removes his shoes, as shown in the video. As he stood close to the murky water, he said on the video, "I don't know how I'm gonna go over, notice my trousers are getting muddy." As he dove into the murky water, expecting to discover solid ground, he instead dove right into the water, making his wife laugh out loud. Mr Lewis uploaded the clip on TikTok last week, and it quickly went viral, garnering 28 million hits. It was then reposted on instagram by numerous pages, and it became viral again, with over 6 million views as of now.
