The recent severe rains in Bengaluru have caused widespread destruction and discomfort to the general people. Several buildings and structures in karnataka have suffered as a result of the present weather conditions, with foundations becoming weak and dangerous.

Another occurrence occurred in Bengaluru when a structure slanted due to severe rains and had to be destroyed. The building's foundation had crumbled, causing the structure to wobble in the heavy rain, posing a safety risk to occupants of the building and adjacent complexes.

The four-story structure was placed inside the Mahalakshmi Layout boundaries. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) officials destroyed the structure on wednesday because the foundation had crumbled, leaving it slanted owing to the severe rains.

According to the officials, the cause of the event was the building's weak fundamental construction, which was exacerbated by the severe rainfall. Before the destruction, the occupants of the building were safely evacuated, and there were no deaths or injuries. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike verified that the individuals who resided in those houses had been relocated and that those who lived in the adjacent areas had been provided with lodging and food. According to sources, this is the fourth building collapse in Bengaluru in the last two weeks.
