An embarrassing situation has arisen for Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan due to a post posted on december 3 on the official twitter account of the Pakistani Embassy in Serbia.

However, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said that the controversial post was released after the twitter account was hacked.

What happened?

A post was released about the Pakistani embassy in the european country of serbia on the twitter page.

The question was raised by tagging prime minister Imran Khan's twitter account, saying, "How long do you, as government officials, can continue to work quietly, without three months' pay, while inflation is breaking all previous records?"

"Our children have been expelled from school for non-payment".

The posts came as a shock to the embassy's twitter followers. Some users commented in support of the post. Others questioned who shared such a post from this state-owned twitter account.

However, no one from the Pakistani government responded to the comment. These posts received attention and were deleted shortly after they were posted.

What does the government of pakistan say?

About an hour after the two tweets were posted, Dr. Arslan Khalid, an adviser to prime minister Imran Khan, commented on Twitter.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has reported that the twitter account of the Pakistani embassy in serbia has been hacked. An investigation is underway".
