Based on the book 'The Untold Vajpayee: Politician and Paradox' by Mention NP, the film will release on christmas next year.



A film is going to be made on former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It was announced on tuesday (28 june 2022). The name of the film is 'I should stay or not, this country should remain - Atal'. The motion poster of the film has also been released.



An excerpt from Atal Bihari Vajpayee's speech is heard in the motion poster. In this he says, “The game of power will go on. Governments will come and go… Parties will be formed and will deteriorate. But this country should remain. The democracy of this country should remain immortal." Trend analyst Taran adarsh shared this on Twitter.



Based on the book 'The Untold Vajpayee: Politician and Paradox' by Mention NP, the film will release on christmas next year. 25th december 2023 is also the 99th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The film will be released in both hindi and english languages. Vinod Bhanushali and sandeep singh are producing 'Atal'. However, till now no information has been revealed about the starcast of the film.



Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born on 25 december 1924 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He played an important role in the formation of Bharatiya Jana Sangh in 1951. In the 1996 lok sabha elections, the bjp emerged as the largest party in the country. On 16 May 1996, atal bihari vajpayee became the prime minister for the first time. However, his government could not prove its majority and lasted only 13 days. In the mid-term elections of 1998, bjp again emerged as the single largest party and nda the largest alliance. Vajpayee again took oath as the Prime Minister. But this time he had to resign only after 13 months. In the subsequent elections, the nda came to power with an absolute majority and in 1999 he again became the Prime Minister. He died on 16 august 2018 at the age of 93.
