Saudi Arabia announces first female astronaut!!!

Saudi Arabia, which allowed women to drive cars just four years ago, is now preparing to send the first woman to space. The Kingdom of saudi arabia on thursday launched its first space travel program, which aims to train Saudi citizens for long and short distance space flights.

Under the Kingdom's ambitious Vision 2030, the program will also train a female astronaut, who will accompany the male astronauts. This is being seen as a major change in the policy of saudi arabia, where women are kept under strict restrictions under the rules of Sharia.

Saudi space team will conduct research in the interest of humanity

The Saudi Space Commission said, this program will enable Saudi astronauts to conduct scientific experiments and research in areas of human interest such as health, sustainability and space technology.

The Astronaut Program is part of Vision 2030. One of the astronauts being trained in this is a Saudi woman, whose being in a space mission will show a historic initiative of the Kingdom. However, the Saudi Space Commission has refused to give the details of the woman selected for the training.

Saudi will also announce National Space Strategy

The Arab country has also planned to declare its National Space Strategy. It will be launched in the next few months, which will open the way for space programs and initiatives related to the purpose of human interest in space. For this, saudi arabia has already signed an agreement with Axiom Space company in Houston city of America earlier this year, which arranges private missions of researchers and tourists in American aircraft.

Saudi becomes second Arab country after UAE

Saudi Arabia has become the second Arab country to do so as soon as the space program is launched. Saudi's neighbor United Arab Emirates (UAE) has already started its ambitious programme. However, the uae is a step ahead of saudi arabia with its successful mission around the Moon.
