J C prabhakar reddy, the chairman of the Tadipatri municipal corporation and a former telugu desam party MP, was interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate on friday for more than nine hours on the alleged transport scam. The JC brothers were accused of fraudulently registering buses in the BS-III category that had been operating for the previous three years by misrepresenting them as BS-IV. 50 of these 154 buses were registered under the names Jatadhara industries and C Gopal reddy, respectively. In Karnataka, 33 buses, 15 in Telangana, and 101 in andhra pradesh were registered. The JC brothers were the subject of 27 FIRs filed by the police in Anantapur and three in Kurnool. Later, the RTA authorities sent a letter to the Centre requesting a probe and a blacklisting of the company. According to sources, the most recent raid is thought to be related to the inquiry.
