Telangana is experiencing flood-like conditions for the second time in less than two weeks as a result of severe rains that have caused rivulets, lakes, and reservoirs to overflow. Continuous rains flooded low-lying areas in hyderabad and some other districts, slowing road traffic and stopping daily life as usual. While one person went missing, three people perished in circumstances due to the rain. Early on Saturday, two people died in a building collapse in warangal town, and a motorcyclist hit a road barrier and died in a flooded part of the medak district.

A few highways and bridges were submerged by the intense rain, and thus shut off the flooded villages and towns. Rivulets, streams, lakes, reservoirs, and other water bodies were experiencing a spate, which caused neighbouring human settlements to be submerged. Since friday evening, Greater hyderabad, medak, Jangaon, Mahabubabad, and sangareddy district have experienced a fury of heavy rains that have turned roads into lakes.

As a result of lake breaching, some major highways, including those connecting hyderabad to nagpur and medak to hyderabad, had reduced traffic. Heavy rains were observed in the medak district's Shivampet mandal (block). Due to the bridge collapsing after heavy rains, the road connection between Havelighanpur and Gangapur was severed. The floods took the lives of six cows. All medak district schools were closed due to a vacation. The maximum rainfall, 26.1 cm, was reported in Pathur in the medak district over the 24-hour period that ended early on Saturday. Rajpalli in the medak district saw 24 cm of rainfall, while Devaruppula in Jangaon saw 25.5 cm.
