Senior ysr congress party leader and andhra pradesh industries minister gudivada amarnath, who is well known for his frank remarks and scathing criticism of political adversaries, made an intriguing remark about power star and Jana Sena party chief pawan kalyan on Tuesday. Speaking to reporters in Visakhapatnam, amarnath asserted that K A Paul, the maverick evangelist and leader of the Praja Shanti party, is a much more effective politician than Pawan Kalyan.

"At least Paul has an ideology and a policy, which pawan kalyan does not. While Paul has declared that he will run in each of the state's 175 assembly districts, pawan kalyan has the guts to do so, the minister claimed. Instead of forming coalitions with other parties and limiting his party to a few seats, he challenged the Jana Sena chairman to field his party's candidates in each of the 175 constituencies in the state. amarnath responded to charges that the YSRC had convened a gathering of Kapu leaders primarily out of concern for the Jana Sena party by asserting that pawan kalyan had not experienced such a situation.

"We have been frequently meeting with all local leaders. The gathering of Kapu leaders has no particular significance, he claimed. The minister asserted that the Jana Sena party is a cinema organisation rather than a political party and that the less mentioned about Pawan Kalyan, the better. He claimed that although his dialogue can draw viewers to his movies, "his dialogues don't have any values in democracy." The minister made fun of Pawan's enthusiasm to collaborate with tdp leader N chandrababu naidu and claimed that while Jana Sena party members wanted the actor to be the chief minister, he was eager to install Naidu instead.
