Mahendra Singh dhoni has a large fan base, and that there is no question people from all over the world go out of their way to be recognised by the chennai Super Kings 'thala.' Meanwhile, one ms dhoni admirer, ajay Gill, has gone over and above to see the indian captain.  However, he was unable to see dhoni, much to his disappointment. ajay Gill, who is just 18 years old, travelled 1,400 kilometres from his home in Haryana's hisar region to meet dhoni in ranchi, the state capital. Gill said that he only wanted to see dhoni for ten min, so he hiked for 16 days starting on July 29. In hisar, he worked as a barber.


He was standing near Dhoni's Simaliya farmhouse in Ranchi's outskirts. dhoni, on the other hand, is presently not in ranchi instead is with the CSK squad for the forthcoming indian Premier League (IPL). According to a Telegraph article, Gill's appearance in ranchi drew the attention of onlookers.

His hair was coloured with the CSK colours, and he had half altered his hair so that in such a way that one side it was dhoni and on the other side it was written Mahi.  

A businessman persuaded Gill to return home as dhoni will return after three months, and he even arranged a flight for him. Recognizing his admiration dhoni might run across this admirer once he comes home.
