sujeeth who delivered a flop with saaho is entrusted with the responsibility to direct megastar chiranjeevi in the telugu remake of malayalam Hit film, Lucifer. chiranjeevi and sujeeth are currently in video calls on the script work. Changes are being made to suit Chiranjeevi's image and the telugu nativity.
The latest update is that chiranjeevi is keen on casting pawan kalyan in the role of a chief minister in the movie. It is the role that was originally played by Tovino Thomas. pawan kalyan recently made a comeback to films and is currently shooting for two films - Vakeel Saab and a Period film with Krish. He also signed a film with Harish Shankar. pawan kalyan previously played a blink and miss role in Chiranjeevi's shankar Dada Zindabad.
lucifer remake is likely to go on floors towards the end of the year. ram charan will be producing the film on his konidela production company Banner in association with UV Creations. chiranjeevi will finish the shooting of his next, Acharya with koratala siva before that. Earlier, there were rumors that salman khan will play a cameo in the film but that is not true.
