Devireddy Tulasamma, the wife of Devireddy Shiv shankar Reddy, who was detained in november 2021 in connection with the shocking murder of former minister y s vivekananda reddy in march 2019, gave a statement on friday in a local court at pulivendula in the ysr district. Nine months after Tulasamma petitioned the court, claiming that the cbi was trying to implicate her husband in the murder case based on the confession statement of one of the murderers Dastagiri, the court recorded the statement.

Shiv shankar Reddy is a well-known ysr Congress party leader in pulivendula and a close ally of Y S avinash Reddy, a kadapa MP and the cousin of chief minister Y S jagan Mohan reddy, who is the CBI's top target in the murder of Viveka. Tulasamma requested the questioning of six additional suspects in the case in her appeal, including Narreddi Rajasekhar reddy, Neeruguttu Prasad, Komma Parameshwara reddy, M. ravindranath Reddy alias B Tech Ravi, and Siva Prakash reddy, the brother-in-law and son-in-law of Viveka.

She said that the material evidence, which included oral, scientific, call data, and CCTV footages gathered by the police before the cbi took over the case, had been tampered with by the six defendants. She also demanded the filing of criminal charges, including the murder case, against them. Tulasamma had a suspicion that the police had gathered tangible evidence during their inquiry that vivekananda reddy had wed Shaik Shameem in hyderabad and fathered a boy through her.
