With the flashback scenes and jai standing in for Veera simha Reddy, the second half gradually becomes a patience-testing experience. Veera simha Reddy was raised by the director's use of numerous conversations, while Jai's character, who ultimately loses all understanding, did not receive at least half of that treatment. Varalaxmi's pre-climax episodes are strong, but they were unable to undo the harm the memory had caused.

Veera simha Reddy features all the same elements as Balayya's past blockbuster movies, with the exception of the script and director. The director attempted to imitate boyapati Srinu's hit movies featuring balayya by reenacting the homam scenes, making references to ugranarasimham, and including horrific bloodbaths. However, all he could offer is them, not the genuine feeling, thrill, or originality. Veera simha Reddy, however, is a dated, mundane story with a predictable plot.

Given the festival season, Veera simha Reddy, which is entirely for fans, is a decent film that might do well in B and C theatres. Ironically, this movie has done a lot better in overseas box office and balayya has bettered chiranjeevi and among the senior actors balayya has dominated chiranjeevi by crossing $750K with just premieres itself while chiranjeevi failed miserably.
