Due to significant losses from the Liger, the telangana exhibitors have resorted to the streets. According to sources, the exhibitors gave the Liger movie's distributor warangal Sreenu an advance payment of roughly Rs 15 crore. The exhibitors assert that losses of up to Rs 9 crore have been sustained. There are roughly 83 exhibitors in telangana who suffered a total loss of Rs 9 crore and are suing director-producer puri jagannadh and charmi for compensation of Rs 9 crore. As exhibitors demonstrate outside the Film Chamber calling for compensation, the whole thing is turning into a massive controversy.

Puri Jagannadh, meanwhile, says nothing at all about the situation. puri had earlier promised to make up for the loss and made the announcement in the media. puri, however, thought it was extremely impolite and absurd when some exhibitors tried to attack him. Since then, puri allegedly has made the decision to remain silent on the subject. Additionally, he reported some of them to the police.

Presently, Liger exhibitors are requesting a response from the hero, Vijay Deverakonda, on the subject. In a similar manner to how chiranjeevi returned his payment for acharya and made amends to the film's distributors and exhibitors, the telangana exhibitors who suffered losses with Liger are now seeking reimbursement from Vijay Deverakonda, the movie's star. The exhibitors contend that they made extravagant advance payments while taking Vijay Deverakonda's fame into account. The movie's distributors want puri and Vijay to make up their losses because the movie underperformed at the box office. Additionally, they are giving warnings to Puri's Double Ismart and Vijay's Kushi.
