Punjab cops defenceless against Khalistani storm...


Lovepreet Toofan, an aide of Khalistani supporter Amritpal Singh, has been released from jail on Friday. A court in Ajnala, punjab had ordered the release of Lovepreet Singh and a few hours later he was released from jail. After the arrest of Lovepreet Toofan on Thursday, Khalistani supporters stormed the Ajnala police station to get him released. During this, some supporters had sticks, swords and guns in their hands. 

Case registered against 30 including Amritpal Singh

So far the situation is peaceful and under control. Amritpal Singh, president of an organization named 'Waris punjab De', had issued a warning regarding the release of his supporter. A case was registered against Amritpal Singh and 30 of his supporters for allegedly abducting and beating up Barinder Singh, a resident of Chamkaur Sahib in Rupnagar district. In his complaint, Barinder Singh had told the police that Amritpal Singh's associates had abducted him from Ajnala and took him to an undisclosed location where he was mercilessly thrashed. 

Khalistani supporter threatened amit Shah

Amritpal Singh, who identifies as a devotee of Bhindranwale, has made some contentious remarks recently. Singh, a resident of Jallupur Khera village in Amritsar, roams around with armed men like slain terrorist Bhindranwale. Some supporters of Amritpal call him Bhindranwale 2.0. The preacher had recently allegedly threatened Union home minister amit shah, saying that he would meet the fate of former prime minister Indira Gandhi.
