Ejaz Khan, who became a household name with TV's most controversial show 'Bigg Boss 7', was detained at the mumbai airport by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in 2021 in connection with a drug case. He was arrested by the NCB in march 2021 with 31 tablets of a drug called Alprazolam, which had a total weight of 4.5 grams. After this the actor was imprisoned in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail. After spending two years in jail, Ejaz has finally got bail.
After spending two years behind bars, Eijaz Khan is finally going to return home. He has got bail. Today, on May 19, at around 6.40 pm, he will be released from Arthur Road Jail. Ejaz's wife giving statement after Mili's bail to her husband said that it is a happy moment for the family. Andrea Asha Khan said, 'It's a happy moment for us and we can't wait to have her at home with us. We have missed him a lot all these years.Ejaz Khan was arrested by the NCB for his alleged involvement with drug peddlers Farooq Batata and his son Shadab Batata. The officials had also told the court that Ejaz himself bought and consumed drugs from Shadab Batata. Not only this, the actor also traded those drugs. On the work front, Eijaz Khan has been seen working in Khatron Ke khiladi 5, bigg boss 7, Kahani Hamare Mahabharat Ki, comedy Nights with Kapil and Savdhaan India. Along with this, Eijaz made his bollywood debut in the year 2003 with the film 'Path'.
