Shweta Bachchan Drops An Unseen Pic Of Kids, Navya And Agastya, Doting Mommy Pens A Heartfelt Note
Shweta Bachchan dropped an unseen picture of her children, Navya Naveli Nanda and agastya Nanda on her IG handle and penned a note about a mother-child bond.
Legendary actor, amitabh bachchan and his wife, jaya bachchan are the power couple of Bollywood. Their family values and traditions are an inspiration for many across the globe. Moreover, the couple has passed on the same legacy to their children, abhishek bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda. amitabh and Jaya's daughter, Shweta is among the most popular star kids. Even though Shweta stays away from the limelight, she often grabs public attention. For the unversed, her son, agastya Nanda is all set to make his bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar's film, The Archies.
Shweta Bachchan took to her instagram handle and dropped an adorable and unseen picture of her kids, Navya Naveli Nanda and agastya Nanda. In the throwback picture, the brother-sister duo can be seen posing happily for the camera. Moreover, the young Navya and agastya looked cute in their respective outfits. While Navya wore a brown-hued printed dress, agastya opted for a checkered shirt. Along with the picture, the doting mommy penned a heartfelt note for her kids and took a trip down the memory lane. In her words:"I opened a drawer today, ostensibly to clean it and all my memories spilled out. Who would have though way back then that this little boy with a cheeky grin would have his first movie poster out today? And his sister barely 13 in the picture would turn out to be such a force!?"
Further, in her caption, Shweta showered love on her munchkins for what they have achieved in their lives. The doting mommy also mentioned that it's tough for mothers when their children move out of their protection. She stated that it is frightening for mothers to slowly move away from their kids, while they embarked on a new journey. Elaborating more on it, Shweta said:
"When your children grow up and you start slowly moving to the sidelines as they forge their own path it feels like you've taken your whole heart and and left it out of your body unprotected, how frightening but there is no way around it. I guess this is what life is all about; letting go x."
Navya Naveli Nanda's reaction on her mother's postSoon after Shweta dropped the picture, her fans and friends started flooding the comment section with their reactions. Filmmaker, farah khan reacted to the picture and wrote, "Lovvvv to both ur good kids.." on the other hand, bollywood actress, ananya pandey commented, "Best." However, it was Shweta's daughter, Navya's reaction to the picture that caught our attention. She dropped a heart emoji and showered love on her mommy.
When Shweta opened up about parentingEarlier, in an interview with Barkha Dutt, Shweta had opened up about her parenting style. On being asked if she has been harsher on Navya than Agastya. Shweta immediately agreed and answered the reason behind this. The doting mommy mentioned that she wanted Navya to be strong, hence, she was tough with her. She also opened up about her kids' personalities and mentioned:

“I’ve been tougher on Navya, because I feel the world isn’t easy on women, and you have to be that much stronger, and that much more vigilant and careful. Not about deadlines or stuff like that. Also, their personalities are very different. I would like to think that Agastya’s an old soul. Navya is a little naive, and I’m a little more non-trusting of certain friends and relationships. I would be a little careful about (things), and talk to her about… Of course, she has the liberty to live her life the way she wants.”
