Her notable portrayals as Sita Mahalakshmi and Noorjahan in the film "Seetharam" captivated audiences, particularly her performance in the song "Ammadu," which propelled her to stardom in telugu cinema. 

Following the success of "Seetharam," her streak continued with another hit in "Hi Nanna." Currently, Mrinal Thakur is set to star alongside vijay deverakonda in the upcoming film "Family Star," further solidifying her presence in telugu cinema while continuing to excel in Bollywood.
