National Investigation Agency (NIA) court has sentenced kashmir separatist leader Yasin Malik to life imprisonment. The court on wednesday handed down a verdict on allegations of funding militants. On May 19, the court convicted Yasin Malik of the charges. The show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes, however;
In view of the decisions taken against Yasin Malik, a huge provision has been made in the court. Earlier, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which was probing the case, had requested that Yasin Malik be hanged.

Malik, however, admitted all the charges against him, including those made by the patiala court under the Unlawful Activities Act (UAPA). The court sentenced him to life imprisonment.

Security has been beefed up in delhi as well as kashmir during the court verdict. Provision has been made to prevent any untoward incidents. A bandh is being observed in the kashmir Valley during the court verdict on Yasin Malik. A complete bandh is taking place in Srinagar. However, he said that he was away from terrorism and was fighting in the Gandhian way. However, Pakistani leaders and celebrities have been tweeting in support of Yasin Malik.
