The YSRC congress party government, led by chief minister Y S jagan Mohan Reddy, has implemented a plethora of social projects, but they aren't enough to keep the party in power for a second consecutive term in the upcoming assembly elections. This was reportedly the response offered to the jagan government by the indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC). The ruling YSRC has hired the I-PAC to help it reclaim power in the 2024 assembly elections.

On Wednesday, I-PAC team head Rishi raj Singh, who is in charge of the party's election campaign, presented a presentation to party officials at a workshop on the jagan government's Gadapa Gadapaku Prabhutvam programme at tadepalli camp office. According to party sources, Singh told party leaders that the jagan government's welfare schemes were being well received by the lower strata of society. "However, there is widespread resentment of the state's lack of development among the youth and upper middle classes. "The party and the government must think about this and take corrective action in the next two years," Singh is said to have urged the meeting.

The I-PAC team leader has also brought to the attention of the party the importance of the government focusing on strengthening the IT sector as well as promoting the industrial sector to create jobs. “It will also generate a favourable discourse about the government across the country,” Singh is said to have stated. He is said to have urged trimming or eliminating certain assistance programmes in order to minimise the strain on the state budget. He advised the party that more emphasis should be placed on development projects that will generate public support.
