The supreme court on monday declined to revoke the anticipatory bail granted to senior telugu desam party leader and former minister Ponguru Narayana and others in the inner ring road alignment and amaravati city master plan case, dealing a blow to the andhra pradesh government. The state government's attorney was criticised by a division bench of the supreme court made up of Justices B R Gavai and Nagaratna for going before the high court even on minor issues out of political retaliation. The government could go before the lower court in response to the state government counsel's claim that Narayana and others were not helping with the case's investigation.

If the accused does not comply, you may petition the high court for the cancellation of the accused's bail. The bench pleaded with the justices not to participate in your political revenge. On september 7, the state high court granted anticipatory bail to Narayana and other individuals whose names appeared in the CID's case over alleged property deals disguised as inner ring road alignment and the master plan for the amaravati capital city.

On the basis of a complaint made by mangalagiri MLA ramakrishna REDDY' target='_blank' title='alla ramakrishna reddy-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>alla ramakrishna reddy, who claimed that land deals had occurred under the guise of changing the alignment design for the amaravati inner ring road, the CID had previously filed a case against tdp chief N Chandrababu Naidu, former minister Narayana, and others. The CID cited Narayana, real estate agent Lingamaneni Ramesh, his brother Lingamaneni Venkata surya Rajasekhar, director KVP Anjani Kumar of ramakrishna Housing Limited, and others as defendants in the case.
