World's First Law to ban smoking for the future generation!!!

The parliament of new zealand has passed a new law banning tobacco and cigarettes. This law says that if you are born after 2008, then you will not be able to buy any kind of smoking product. That is, you must be at least 14 years old to buy cigarettes or tobacco in New Zealand. The new zealand Government says that with this people will live a long and good life. Also, it is being claimed that by taking such a step, Rs 26,400 crore will be saved in health expenditure.

New Zealand's health Minister Ayesha Verrall while presenting this bill said that it is a big step towards a 'Smoke-Free Future'. According to the current data, there is only 8 per cent of people in new zealand smoke daily. With the new law, the new zealand government hopes that it will reduce the number of people smoking by 5 per cent. Also, every year the number of people buying tobacco will decrease.

90 per cent of shops will be closed

Currently, cigarettes and tobacco-related products are being sold at a total of 6,000 shops in New Zealand. According to the new law, only 600 shops can sell cigarettes. Apart from this, the level of nicotine in tobacco products will also be reduced so that it does not become addictive. Opposition parties are saying that this will start black marketing and small shops will end completely.

Even though the new zealand government has implemented new rules in this way, no ban has been imposed on electronic cigarettes. The biggest reason for this is that it contains liquid nicotine instead of tobacco. In a battery-operated e-cigarette, nicotine is heated and vaporized.
