Two regional leaders in the nation lack the trust of the bjp leadership in Delhi, and they are not willing to form an alliance with them under any circumstances. The bjp leadership, especially prime minister Narendra Modi and home minister amit shah, whose word is final in the saffron party, have lost faith in the two leaders. The two are nitish kumar of the Janata Dal (United) from bihar and Nara chandrababu naidu of the tdp from Andhra Pradesh.

These two politicians had sided with the bjp but later left the group at a pivotal moment. Both politicians have lavished praise on the bjp when they were allies and have hurled insults after the coalition was broken. These two leaders were dubbed as the most unreliable in the nation by the bjp leadership. The bjp leadership believes that a reliable foe is preferable than these two unstable allies.

In his final battle in Andhra Pradesh, Naidu might move heaven and earth to call another truce with the BJP. In order to build up support for him and lobby for him before the 2024 election, Naidu had his operatives infiltrate the BJP. Modi and Shah are reportedly unable to accept Naidu's cunning hand since they view him as a cunning leader. Therefore, Naidu's only option is to support the Jana Sena and the two Leftist parties, but the bjp is likely to support itself.
