Plane with 72 On Board Crashes, 16 died...


A plane has crashed near Pokhra international airport in Nepal. There were 68 passengers and a total of four crew members in this plane of Yeti Airlines. Rescue operation is going on after the accident. After this accident at the airport (Nepal Plane Crash), the airport has been closed for the next few hours. The plane of Yeti airlines, which fell victim to the accident, was a 72 seater and a total of 72 people were on board the plane. A total of 16 people have died in this so far.


The spokesperson of the Nepali army has told that so far the bodies of 16 people have been removed. A total of 68 passengers aboard the plane included 10 foreign nationals and two newborn children. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of nepal, this plane was going from Kathmandu to Pokhara. This plane fell victim to an accident near the old airport. As soon as the plane crashed, a fierce fire broke out in it. It can be seen in the pictures that huge smoke is rising from the plane.

Pokhara international airport Information Officer bishnu Prasad Adhikari has told that flight number 9N-AMC had taken off from Kathmandu at 10.33 am. Police, medical team, local people and ambulance are present at the spot. Efforts are on to extinguish the fire and rescue people.

22 people lost their lives in 2022 as well

In May last year, all 22 passengers died in a plane crash in nepal itself. Four indian citizens were also aboard in it. In addition, 2 German and 13 Nepalese nationals were on board. The accident was so terrible that no one's life could be saved. Even in the year 2019, a plane of Yeti airlines was the victim of an accident. The plane had skidded off the runway. Two people were injured in this accident but no one lost their lives.
