Jagapathi Babu typically avoids controversy, but for some time now, he has been making unneeded remarks about the kamma caste. Despite coming from the same group, Jagapathi Babu feels the need to portray himself as apolitical and unconcerned with caste. It is admirable that the performer has no regard for caste, but he is also, whether knowingly or not, defaming the community and serving as a propaganda tool against it.

All communities, including the kamma community, struggle with caste extremism. Though things have recently gotten better, the problem still exists. Then, in recent years, there has been another caste-related issue in Andhra Pradesh. An entire community has been purposefully alienated and defamed for political purposes. There is deliberate propaganda against the kamma community that denigrates the people without cause. 

There is a deliberate attempt to associate power-hungry and self-centered behaviour with the entire community's residents. The purpose of the propaganda was to harm the tdp politically, and it was successful in tarnishing the reputation of the entire neighbourhood. In an effort to appear apolitical and show that he doesn't take caste seriously, Jagapathi Babu is making generalisations about events that occurred 15 to 20 years ago. He should consider whether the events or experiences from so long ago still have value now.

Due to the pace of change, this will undoubtedly not be the case. He is only at fault if he makes such remarks without doing such introspection.
