After this, the customs officials locked the passenger in a room without letting him out and confiscated the exotic animals he was keeping. They also informed the Union Wildlife Protection Crime Branch, police in Besant Nagar, Chennai. They came and visited and found that these five are the most dangerous wild animals. And pathogens can be prevalent. Due to this, we cannot allow these animals into our country. Along with the arrest of the passenger who smuggled these animals illegally, these animals should be sent back to malaysia on the same flight they arrived on. They advised that the expenses should be collected from the traveler who has been arrested for smuggling the animals.
