Narappa is just a complete carbon copy of Dhanush's 'Asuran' and the makers never even spared the background music, dialogues, or anything else. If a remake version cannot be made to local sensibilities, then why should it be made? narappa copies even the tiniest detail from asuran under the word 'Remake' and instead of doing such a carbon copy, they could have opted Vetrimaaran to make a completely different story for the telugu audience and address another evil in the telugu language and that would have made at least some sense.

As dhanush has delivered a complete performance in 'Asuran' this movie totally lacks the emotional value of 'Asuran' and that itself is a major drawback and it is a lot better off watching the original version. venkatesh Daggubati manages to pull off a meaty role, but he looks totally odd in several places. venkatesh also missed the X-Factor and he lacked the power during the transformation scenes.

Priyamani proves her potential once again and she has done a quality role. Even technical wise we can't credit anyone as the Musical score is lifted from gv prakash and even the Cinematography is just a spitting image of 'Asuran' and we can also notice some famous frames from 'Asuran' is just recreated here in 'Narappa'. All, we can say is narappa is a poor sister of the Original version and it fails in all aspects!
