Pak boat seized with Rs 400 crore worth of heroin in Gujarat. A Pakistani fishing boat carrying drugs worth Rs 400 crore has been seized by the indian Coast Guard in gujarat, six people were arrested.


The boat was carrying 77 kilograms of heroin. The indian Coast Guard in a joint with ATS gujarat and the gujarat Anti-Terror squad has apprehended one pakistan fishing boat, the drugs were smuggled in a boat called Al Hussein.

The smuggling heroin worth would be approx Rs. 400 crores. After seizing the boat was brought to Jakhau for further investigation.

Police said the occupants of the boat were being taken into custody and are being questioned. This year April, the Coast Guard, and the ATS had carried out a similar operation and seized a boat with 8t Pakistani’s carrying 30 kg of heroin worth  Rs 150 crore, near the Jakhau coast in Kutch.


Last month,  Rs.600 crore worth of heroin consignment was caught red-handed near Gujarat’s Morbi district.  In September, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence had seized around 3,000 kg of the drug, from afghanistan which was worth Rs 21,000 crore from two containers at the Mundra port in Kutch, which was officially confirmed.
