The Thirumalai tirupati Devasthanam has announced that the first Sarva Darshan tokens will be distributed in tirupati starting tomorrow (Tuesday), adding that devotees possessing two immunisation certificates will be permitted to the Darshan. From 9 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, 15,000 tokens will be distributed daily at three sites in tirupati to allow visitors to visit tirupati Ezhumalayana for free darshan.

The direct issue of free darshan tokens at the tirupati Ezhumalayan temple was suspended a few months ago due to the risk of corona infection. Only once a month, Thirumalai tirupati Devasthanam offers Rs.300 and dharma Darshan tokens online. However, some rural devotees were unable to purchase these internet tickets. In this regard, tirupati temple said that once the corona infection reduces, Sarva Darshan tokens will be issued directly in tirupati once more.

As a result, separate centres will be set up at 9 a.m. tomorrow at srinivas Hotel in tirupati, Govindarajar Chatram, and Bhudevi Complex near Alibri, as the Corona 3rd wave has passed. At these centres, devotees will receive 15,000 free darshan tokens each day. These tokens are available to all devotees who present their aadhar cards. The devotees who have received the tokens are given Swami Darshan the next day.

They must also produce a certificate stating that they have been immunised against two corona illnesses. Those who have not been vaccinated, as well as those under the age of 18, must bring a medical examination certificate showing that they do not have the RTPCR corona. According to the temple, it must have taken at least 48 hours before going for darshan.
