PC Nagesh, the karnataka Education minister, has stated that government school teachers who are taking the exams will not be permitted to do so if they are wearing the hijab. The state administration, led by Basavaraj Pommaya, has decided not to allow instructors to wear hijabs for SSLC and pre-university examinations, following the karnataka High Court's restriction on wearing hijabs in educational institutions.

P.C. Nagesh, Karnataka's minister of Primary and Higher Education, affirmed this "Although there are no dress restrictions for government school instructors, we do not force them to wear the hijab on moral grounds because pupils who come to take the exam are not permitted to do so. teachers who wear the hijab are not required to go through the interview procedure."

As a result, hijab-wearing teachers were barred from working on SSLC exams. Last week, a teacher who had been selected for the SSLC examination in the mysore district of karnataka was denied entry into the examination hall because he refused to wear a headscarf. In karnataka, SSLC exams are currently being held. elections are scheduled to take place till the middle of this month. The Pre-University tests, which begin later this month, are the next step. teachers from government and government-aided schools have been hired for SSLC and pre-university examination assignments throughout the state in this capacity.
