Liger, the new film starring vijay deverakonda and puri jagannadh, has received mixed reviews. With an ensemble cast and a love story set in the world of mixed martial arts, the movie also serves as Vijay's bollywood debut. According to rumours in Film Nagar, two major stars who were approached earlier were allu arjun and ram Charan. allu arjun first intended to perform Liger alongside puri, but for some reason, allu arjun was unable to.

Puri had also contacted ram charan, according to insiders in film nagar. Both of these have missed Liger, and Vijay is now the owner of the movie. When Vijay presented it to karan johar, the rest is now history. allu arjun and sukumar collaborated on Pushpa, which eventually became a Pan-India blockbuster. ram charan and Jr. ntr worked on RRR, which also enjoyed box office success.

Liger, Vijay Deverakonda's bollywood debut film, is already trying mightily to survive at the ticket counters after a terrible showing at the paid previews on Thursday. There has been a 77% decline in attendance in the South indian states where the movie was anticipated to draw the largest crowd. Additionally, the movie's receipts in the USA decreased by 81 percent. According to bollywood Hungama, the movie made Rs 4.77 crore in North America after two days. Though it has performed below expectations at the box office, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, starring Ranveer Singh, is currently doing better than Vijay Deverakonda's movie.
