Loss of Rs. 225 crores in a single day..!? IT companies wrote to CM..?

IT companies are said to have lost Rs 225 crore due to last week's heavy rains in Bengaluru which brought traffic to a standstill. The association of IT companies has written a letter to karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai. The letter also mentions that there has been a loss. It is to be noted that Bengaluru was worst hit due to heavy rain last week and many roads were submerged in rainwater. Due to this, employees working in IT companies in Bengaluru were having a hard time commuting from their homes to their offices.
Employees are said to have reached the office more than five hours late due to flooding, especially on the ORR road where major IT companies are located in Bengaluru. It has been mentioned in the letter written to the chief minister that major IT companies in Bangalore have suffered a loss of Rs 225 crore due to this. The letter mentioned that the infrastructure condition on the ORR road is very poor and due to which the employees coming to the office are facing great difficulty. In the letter, it is mentioned that there is concern about the infrastructure capacity of Bengaluru, which is undergoing great development, and that the infrastructure should be improved to avoid the loss of companies that have invested significantly in this area. The government must prevent economic damage to all companies, including IT companies so that the reputation of the city and state of Bangalore is not damaged. The letter pointed out that the situation is continuing due to the rains for the last 3 days and that the construction projects that have been stalled should be completed quickly.The association of IT companies has written to the karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai that although the new metro construction has started recently, it is progressing very slowly and the road development projects started in Bengaluru a few years ago are not completed, so the government should take urgent steps to improve the road construction work in Bengaluru.
