Karnataka issues New Covid Guidelines!!!
In response to increased COVID-19 cases in China, the karnataka government has mandated the wearing of masks in theatres and education institutions and encouraged residents to avoid crowded gatherings.
New Covid Guidelines
Arriving travellers who exhibit symptoms at the airports in Bengaluru and Mangaluru will be transferred for quarantine to Bowring Hospital in Bengaluru and Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru.
As an alternative, symptomatic travellers may choose to be quarantined in the closest suitable private hospital. The passengers are responsible for paying the fee.
Those who provide RT-PCR test samples may depart the airport, but they must continue to be under quarantine at home. If they have symptoms, they ought to visit the specified medical facility right away and get in touch with the neighbourhood health professionals.
All samples with positive results and a CT value under 25 will have their genomes sequenced to determine whether the BF.7 variation, which is increasing the number of cases in China, is present.
Children under the age of 12 who arrive at airports exhibiting symptoms will be transported to the approved medical facilities with a parent or legal guardian who is in good health.
As decided by the central government, the 2% random sample of overseas immigrants will continue.
All New Year's celebrations must end by 1am, and all gatherings must take place entirely outside.
In theatres, attendees must wear N-95 masks. Signs stating "No mask, no admission" should be conspicuously displayed in all public spaces.
