Users of whatsapp are currently receiving fraudulent calls from foreign numbers. Prior to answering any calls of this nature, be cautious if you are getting international audio or video. Avoid such calls if the caller ID begins with +237 (Cameroon, Africa), +84 (Vietnam), +251 (Ethiopia, Africa), +62 (Indonesia), or any other foreign code.
These con artists will pretend to be a credible organization looking to recruit individuals for part-time work when they offer the position, and then they will email the user a link that, if they click on it, will compromise their bank account. Therefore, if consumers are consistently getting calls from an unknown number, they should immediately report and ban the calls in order to avoid these types of scam calls. The first crucial step should be reporting the number, as whatsapp will take the necessary action against these numbers and permanently ban them from the platforms once the user reports the number.

Many users reported that they have been getting calls often from whatsapp foreign numbers. In India, there are more than 500 million users of the instant messaging service. Many individuals use the app for personal relationships, but some also use it for work-related activities. However, recently, a lot of customers have complained about receiving erroneous calls from numbers beginning with +84, +62, or +60.
