Adjacent to the right side of the railway station is a two-wheeler stand which can accommodate around 700 vehicles. However, due to lack of space to park the vehicles beyond the specified time, the commuters are suffering a lot. Apart from this, around 500 vehicles are parked, they put a board saying 'no parking space here' and turn the coming vehicles back. Due to this, the metro train passengers are facing severe difficulties.
About this some passengers said: Alandur Ramkumar: Every day I park my two-wheeler at Alandur metro station parking area and return by metro train to Anna Road area. For the past few days, even regular commuters have been denied parking at the Alandur parking lot.
Even in an environment where there is space for 200 vehicles, they turn them away saying 'no parking space'. They block the parking area by placing 'No Parking' boards here and there.
