On Saturday, december 9, the telangana state government, led by newly elected chief minister A revanth reddy, issued orders expelling all seven advisors appointed by the BRS administration, led by previous chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
Somesh Kumar, the chief minister's advisor, Rajiv Sharma, the government's chief advisor, Minorities Welfare advisor AK Khan, Finance advisor GR Reddy, police Law and Order and Crime Control advisor Anurag Sharma, Agriculture chief advisor Chennamaneni Ramesh, and Forest Affairs advisor R Shobha are among them.

Somesh Kumar, who also held the position of chief secretary, was in control of many vital departments until the telangana High court ordered him to return to his home cadre in Andhra Pradesh. He resigned immediately and returned to telangana as former chief minister KCR's counselor.

During his tenure as opposition leader, revanth reddy repeatedly targeted these officials, particularly Somesh Kumar, for allegedly colluding with the BRS regime in "causing severe financial loss to the state exchequer." Furthermore, Somesh Kumar was instrumental in the creation of the dharani portal, which congress labeled a 'scam' and pledged to replace it with a better version. watch out this space for more updates in this regard.
