The telangana government has proclaimed a vacation ahead of Shab-e-Barat, but it's unclear if hyderabad schools will be closed on Monday. This uncertainty resulted from last-minute announcements by several city schools that the day after Shab-e-Meraj would be a vacation. A parent from a hyderabad school in attapur told the india Herald that Shab-e-Meraj was a late-night vacation, announced when everyone was still in prayer.

Shab-e-Barat holiday is optional for schools in Hyderabad
Although Shab-e-Barat was declared a holiday by the state administration on february 26, it is classified as an optional holiday rather than a public one. In the same vein, the management of the educational institutions chooses whether or not to hold the vacation in Hyderabad.

Shab-e-Barat
Known as the "night of forgiveness," Shab-e-Barat is celebrated throughout Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan) as well as South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, and Turkey).

Many individuals pay their loved one's grave visits in the evening, while others choose to fast on Shab-e-Barat event.

It is unclear if Hyderabadi schools that abruptly announced a holiday for Shab-e-Meraj will do the same for Shab-e-Barat or make a pre-announcement announcement.
