The india Meteorological Department (IMD) in hyderabad has issued a yellow alert for today and tomorrow due to the expectation of rainfall in several telangana districts. There was rain in a few regions yesterday.
 

IMD Hyderabad’s forecast for today’s rainfall
According to the weather department, Kumaram Bheem, Mancherial, Peddapalle, Karimnagar, J. Bhupalpally, Mulugu, B. Kothagudem, Sangareddy, and Vikarabad districts of telangana are expected to receive rainfall today. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts. IMD hyderabad also predicts rainfall tomorrow in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem, Nirmal, Jagtial, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, and Vikarabad.

Rainfall in telangana yesterday
The telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) reports that yesterday's rainfall varied throughout the state, with nalgonda recording the most at 31.8 mm. The state's districts received rains ranging from 0.5 to 31.8 mm.

Now, with IMD hyderabad issuing a yellow alert for today and tomorrow, it is highly likely that rainfall will be witnessed in several districts in Telangana.

Hyderabad saw "excess" cumulative rainfall during the southwest monsoon season on saturday, even though it was an El Nino year. A twenty-five percent variation in rainfall was noted.
 
Hyderabad saw a cumulative rainfall of 769.5 mm during the southwest monsoon season of this year, which was more than the city's average of 615.4 mm. Certain regions of the city had regular rainfall, despite the city as a whole seeing "excess" rainfall.
 
The mandals in hyderabad that had rainfall deviations over the city average were Shaikpet, Maredpally, Charminar, Asifnagar, Nampally, Khairatabad, Secunderabad, and Tirumalgiri.
